Buca di Beppo Restaurant Recipe
3 cups ricotta cheese
1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 ounces chocolate, chopped
2 ounces plain, roasted pistachio nuts, chopped
6 tablespoons Frangelico
12 cannoli shells
1 cup chocolate custard
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Place the cheese, sugar, chopped chocolate, pistachio nuts and Frangelico in a large bowl and mix well. Spread the chocolate custard over the bottom of a large serving platter. With a tipless pastry bag, fill the cannoli shells. Place the cannolis on the chocolate custard, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. Makes 6 servings.
